World Book Night at Bishopston Library

Thursday 23 April is World Book Night, the grown up version of World Book day.

We will be celebrating with an evening of informal book talk, chatting in small groups about the books that have inspired us. So please have a think about these four questions we will discuss on the night:

Which book would you save from the fire or flood?
What is your favourite childhood book?
Which book do you urge all your friends to read?
Which author never lets you down?

We will have some surprise guests sharing their views, a few wild card options and a licensed bar. And we will gather up everyone’s choices for a ‘Bishopston recommends’ display.
