Flash Fiction
We present some of the best Flash Fiction, read by a number of authors: self-contained stories that take only a few minutes.
An evening of readings introduced by Jude Higgins, founder of the international Bath Flash Fiction Awards and the short-short fiction press. There will be readings from Jude and four other local, widely published writers of the form: Judy Darley, KM Elkes, Alison Woodhouse, John Wheway.
Flash Fiction is self-contained stories that take only a few minutes. There will be a wide variety of styles and subject matter, all within a 500 word or less format.
It will be fun, pacy, get you thinking and maybe wanting to write something yourself.
Doors open 7.15, event starts 7.30.
There will be a cash bar for soft drinks and hot drinks.
Profits go to Friends Of Bishopston Library to provide facilities and events at the library.
